A dual-supply membrane system that provides general-use water and RO water for drinking. It is ideal for treating river water source with occasional salinity intrusion. Capable of treating various raw water sources from rainwater to river or stream water, these systems offer reliable access to clean water in underserved regions. WEIDA can provide complete design-and-build water treatment solutions; customised to each site and built around our proven WEIDA DSM membrane technologies.
Water supply for rural and remote communities (villages, schools, clinics, plantations)
Alternative water supply projects
Rural-Specific Design – Engineered for remote and off-grid locations, with user-friendly interfaces and minimal maintenance requirements.
Low Energy or Manual Operation– To address the issue of occasional saline intrusion, an RO process is needed to ensure the water is safe and palatable for human consumption. The DSM produces two streams of treated water output; one using RO for consumption; and another for general use using basic filtration processes.
Scalable & Customisable – Modular designs allow tailoring of systems to match community needs as the community demand grows in future.
